Project Brief
This former engineering office building was purchased by our former nurse client to renovate into a shared senior living facility. She took the leap to follow her passion of providing a comfortable and inviting home for the seniors of the Peoria area. The existing building was perfectly laid out to transform offices to sleeping rooms. Shared bathrooms, social spaces, a dining room, an in-house salon, and a game room were all designed into the existing building. studioK helped the client navigate the often times overwhelming process of coordinating code requirements with both the local jurisdiction and the state requirements for this specialized type of facility. studioK understands that everyone involved in a project needs to work together to move towards a common end goal and that our job is to work on behalf of our client’s best interest.
